That's the election here in the US...it will bring some pretty big changes. Let's see...it's September second now...so 28 days left in September...then 31 in October and then three in November before the election. that's 62 days from now. Tommorow it will be 61.

It seems to me that if this number had any importance at 2,300, then it certainly must be much more signifigant at nearly 20,000.

I put out 1,027 leaflets yesterday in San Diego. It was a lot of fun...and boy, I will tell you, I walked at least 12 miles.

Why do I leaflet anyway?

Well, for example, I left my son's apartment today and on the corner I saw the man I had that little fight with the other night. He's a government man, and I am really bothered by his presence in my neighborhood, which is why they put him there, and that's attitude is why I leaflet. I am treated atrociously, and I must protest it in any way possible, and leafleting seems the only thing that has any effect on them at all...so I do it.

Last night there was this guy outside of my son's building and he was talkingvery loudly...shouting, angrly...nasty obsenities. He is living in front of the post office there, and has been there for two weeks or so. Every night it's the same thing, he sits there all night long and shouts obsenities.

So last night I had enough, and I went over there and told him to move on and not come back there ever again, that he was being disrespectful of the people who lived in the building, including my 5 year old son. SO he was a nasty fucker who argued with me and calle dme names, and soon we were scuffling a bit...nothing too serious, just petty junior high school stuff. Anyway, he refused to leave no matter what, and threatened me to call the police on me. At that point I turned around and looked over at her building and saw that in every single window was a person watching the spectacle. So I called to them all, I said OK common all of you, help me out here...no one said anything, so I said, don't you guys care about your building? Don't you care about your home? Some people called back to me, they sided with the man...they were afraid of him, and they decided it was easier to be on his side then on mine, and some of the people said very nasty things ot me. The former manager, who got fired after she argued with me, she said that I didn't live in the building, and one guy calle dme a loser, not like that, I had begun walking to the phone to call the cops, and he said " Keep walking loser." I stopped and said I didn't quite hear that, would the person who said it care to repeat it, but they did not.

Men like me built this country...and the weak people who stood in their windows, not willing to stand for decency, but willing to pretend to stand for a homless criminal against my 5 year old son, those people have ruined America.
